WW3

World War Three took place in 1996...?!?
Actually - below, there is footage from 1997
Aye - it was a long conflict - as it had to be! And although not real at all
The casualties are, ultimately, very real:
out of the sixty wrestlers involved
so many are now dead indeed -
Rocco Rock, Louie Spicolli, Curt Hennig, Chris Adams, Brian Pillman, Brian ''Crush'' Adams, The Wall,
Eddie Guerrero, Rick Rude, Renegade, Ray Traylor...
(the latter better known as the "Big Bossman"...)
Elizabeth Houlette, who was on the sidelines of course, has since departed this world as well... War makes many casualties, see --- only these were sideline casualties -CASUALTIES OF A CUT-THROAT, UNFORGIVING BUSINESS- and the war was only one of ratings and buy rates - but coming at the cost of very real lives with the toll that it took on all of those performers. So, yeah - we are still waiting for the real World War 3 - but we can already have a sense of the feeling of loss that it will bring... ________________________________________

It would have been an excellent choice to kick off the REAL World War 3 - wouldn't it have been?

While WWF had their pathetic "Winter Combat" (as previously seen), WCW had their classic Fall Brawl featuring the Horsemen versus the nWo before it - and WORLD WAR 3 after it!
Wow.
I mean, you CAN'T TOP THAT!

I pity the foolish fanboys who DARE say that pathetic little insignificant small-scale storylines such as McMahon vs Austin (the boss feuding with his disrespectful employee - rrrrright - and he NEVER says "you're fired" and ends it right there and then? That's believable! And the next thing is, Vinnie Mac will have us believe HE coined the phrase "you're fired" - not Donald Trump! Rrrrrright...) - THAT obtuse and obvious script was "better" than the "nWo invades WCW" saga?

When McMahon tries to add scope to his pathetic storylines, in order to imitate what WCW had done, it always winds up crappy sub-par material such as his "Ministry" gothic abomination or his sad "Alliance" invasion bit... Or, worse still, his version of the nWo... His DX crap is just as silly, unrealistic and insignificant as the Austin crappy storyline was, mind you...

Really, now, as I type this, all I can say is that WCW was indeed the best, 10 years ago.
And today, in 2007...
