1980s

I guess that
I am still learning, then...?

We're all still learning
since this timeless song
was first broadcast
on local radios everywhere
sometime
or another...

Gotta stop making the same mistakes
over and over again -
we have to learn how to mend our ways
make amends and start being better
on any semblance of a regular basis...!

Granted - it comes easier to some of us
- not to all!
But that is another story...

This song brings back such good memories
summertime memories
childhood memories
days of innocence long gone by
days that will never return
people that never will either
- not as they were, they won't
Not to the same earth they shall not.

Some major changes must take place, first, you see...
Cause, eventually, WE WILL LEARN...

Personal Favorites Series: Lee Remick

Did cancer ever reap away a grandest lady - a more angelic one than Lee Remick? Most probably, yes. Lee Remick remains however the better-known angelic lady to have been so prematurely nixed by that most cruel of killer diseases.
And no one - not Reese Witherspoon, not Renee Zellweger, not anyone in Tinseltown today - has ever come close to replacing Lee Remick's candor and class.
Certainly not Julia Stiles (...)
